31st March 2022 CapiScope 4.53 released

The latest update for CapiScope has been released today. Improvements include automatic thresholding for the fast AMC Automatic Movement Correction, and the FCF Functional Capillary Flow and FCD Functional Capillary Density calculations also now have automatic thresholding.

Clinical microcirculation and the technique of capillaroscopy

BBC Horizon "Are we still evolving?"

1st March 2011. Tonight at 9pm BBC2, BBC's Horizon TV program "Are we still evolving?" will feature the new HVCS handheld CapiScope Video Capillaroscopy System being used by Professor Cynthia Beall in the mountainous Himalayas of Nepal.

A system was required that was battery powered and lightweight and easily portable to be used in very remote mountainous Khumbu region in the Himalayas.
